Plastic Water Bottle Ban

To reduce plastic waste, Breckenridge has banned single-use plastic water bottles under one gallon. Please bring a reusable water bottle and take advantage of our refill stations located throughout town, including:

  • Riverwalk Center

  • Stephen C. West Ice Arena

  • Breckenridge Recreation Center

Breckenridge offers a variety of eco-friendly transportation options to help you navigate town sustainably:

Reusable Bags

Single use bags in Breckenridge cost 25 cents in an effort to discourage their use. The Town provides reusable bags to lodging and retail partners to ensure residents and visitors are never without.
