Breckenridge is working toward ambitious climate goals, and one way to make a big impact is by improving home energy efficiency. Xcel Energy’s Mountain Energy Project offers rebates for upgrades like heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, air sealing and insulation and other high-efficiency measures—helping residents save money while cutting gas. These rebates are designed specifically for gas constrained mountain communities in Xcel’s territory.
To offer these rebates, contractors must register as an Xcel Energy Trade Partner. Registration ensures you’re eligible for incentives and listed on Xcel’s public contractor directory, making it easier for local homeowners to find qualified professionals. Since you serve Summit County, select the Mountain Energy Project during registration and explore training resources available through Xcel’s portal. Together, we can make Breckenridge homes more efficient and support our community’s goals.
