New Energy Code Adoption - 7/16 Stakeholder Meeting Recap

On Wednesday 7/16/2025, the Town of Breckenridge hosted a stakeholder meeting to discuss and get input regarding the planned adoption for new building energy codes.
The last stakeholder meeting is on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 2:30pm - 4:00pm
During the meeting there was discussion of possible code amendments for both commercial and residential code. During the meeting various "Pathways on a Platter" were examined, discussing different pathways and platter requirements. There was discussion of the future of the Low Energy and Carbon Code. The meeting concluded with a discussion around new resources that will be needed for compliance.
