Xcel Energy’s Renewable Energy Trust (RET) is a grant program that supports renewable energy projects for Colorado nonprofit organizations and public entities. The program is funded through contributions from Xcel Energy residential and business customers either with lump-sum donations or through a premium on energy bills. The fund is administered through The Denver Foundation as a donor-advised fund. For more information on this program please visit the RET page on the Xcel Energy Website. The application period will be open on April 1, 2020 with a deadline of May 15, 2020.
